Entry #6: Why everyone loves Converse
Converse has been around for many years and is still popular to this day. Whether wearing them at school, when hanging out with friends or at concerts, Converse always fits in. There’s a reason why they are so popular and why many people keep on choosing them, and that’s because they both have style and comfort. I remember when I bought my first pair of Chuck Taylors when I was about to start my first year of high school, and I’m still wearing them to this day!
One reason why Converse stands out is because of their many color options. The colors include black, white, red, blue, gray, yellow, orange, and basically any color you can think of. Converse also has a customizing option where you can design your own shoes! Because of these amazing color options, you can easily find pairs that match your outfits. I have the classic black and white Chuck Taylors which go well with any outfit I wear.
Another reason is you don’t have to worry about creasing them because the creases are not as noticeable as other shoes like Nike Dunks, for example, which I also own. They were orignally made for basketball players so they can also be worn as gym shoes. According to Garage Gym Reviews, “Converse All-Stars have a flat, durable sole, which helps keep your foot firmly anchored to the ground while lifting weights.” They are comfortable and durable for everyway wear. According to Italiani.it, “Thanks to their rubber sole and flexible structure, these shoes ensure superior comfort, ideal for wearing all day.” I’ve had my first pair of Chuck Taylors for almost five years now and my second pair for four years, and they are both still good as new! I’ve worn them through school, field trips, at the park, and everyday errands, but they haven’t fallen apart. Moreover, they are affordable compared to other sneaker brands, so you don’t have to spend a lot of money to look good.
Overall, it’s easy to see why they are so popular and well known. Converse isn’t like other shoe brands. They are timeless, stylish, and comfortable. You don’t have to try hard to style them because they fit into any look and help people to express themselves. You can wear them for everyday wear, at events, or even at the gym. They were the first pair of shoes that I liked and make me feel confident in what I wear. What kind of shoes do you like?!

ReplyDeleteI love Converse as well! As you said, they go with really any outfit you put on. I also think Converse is a good value for the price. The last pair I had lasted me a couple of years of almost daily wear before they finally fell apart!
